VCSELs: PD-LD offers several different varieties of fiber coupled 850nm Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Lasers or VCSELs. These devices may be mounted in connector receptacle style packages or fiber pigtailed to facilitate optical coupling into Multimode optical fiber. VCSELs are available in several different pin-out configurations for easing installation into existing circuit boards. Their narrow spectral width and fast rise and fall times make them ideal for high speed communications or for use as cost effective light sources. SLED’s: PD-LD, Inc offers a variety of standard Surface-Emitting LED’s (SLED’s) in ready to use, fiber-coupled packages, including FC, ST, SC and other receptacles, as well as fiber pigtailed units. BiDirectional: PD-LD, Inc offers a family of BiDirectional transmitter and receiver modules operating in the 1310 and 1550nm optical windows. Styles include: WDM versions that transmit and receive at different wavelengths and single wavelength versions that transmit and receive at the same wavelength. Both styles are available with either PIN diode or PIN TIA receiver sections. ELED’s: Long wavelength 1310nm singlemode fiber optic TX and RX modules: PD-LD, Inc offers separate TX and RX modules which are designed to be backward compatible with industry standard sources and detectors used for single mode fiber applications. This form factor allows designers to offer singlemode fiber performance in applications, which currently use short wavelength (850nm) devices in identical form factor packages. Fiber Coupled ELED’s: PD-LD, Inc. offers 1310nm ELED’s in ready to use, fiber coupled packages, including FC, ST and SC receptacles. These 1310nm Edge Emitting Type devices have been optimized for coupling into 9/125 micron optical fiber for use in singlemode fiber optic applications Receivers: Photodiodes: PD-LD, Inc offers a variety of standard and custom PIN Photodiodes and APDs in fiber coupled packages. Our silicon devices cover the optical spectrum from 400 to 1100nm, InGaAs is optimal from 1100 to 1650nm and Germanium is suitable from 800 to 2100nm. All of these devices are available in fiber pigtailed co-axial packages or in connector style receptacle packages. PIN TIA’s: PD-LD, Inc offer a low noise, high responsivity InGaAs photo detector paired with a transimpedance amplifier (TIA) in convenient fiber coupled packages. Devices have been optimized for speeds of 155, 622, 1250, and 2500Mb/s. Laser Diodes: PD-LD, Inc offers a wide variety of standard laser devices at wavelengths from visible to near infrared.
